Most of our hikes are day trips on Sunday. A few of our trips are longer. They take place on Saturday, so we do not need to return to Toronto quite as fast.
It has been awhile.
Saturday, August 13. We meet at 10:00am at Yonge and York Mills. We drive up through Peterborough to Petroglyphs park and we hike on the trails. On the way home, we will stop and check out the Perseid meteor shower. This is the optimal time to do this, and out in the country, there will be little articifial lighting to mess up our view of the night sky.
