Rouge Valley Is Canada's premier urban wilderness park. It is so close to the city that it is in the city. What more could you want!

Directions

This place can be busy. We have had problems parking here in the past, so how about we carpool from Yonge and York Mills

  1. Take Highway 401 east.
  2. Exit at Port Union/Kingston Road (Exit #390) Turn left, east.
  3. Drive East on Kingston Rd for approximately one kilometer.
  4. Turn left into the "Glen Rouge Campground" on the left-hand (North) side of Kingston Road.
  5. If you pass the bridge and Altona Road, you have gone too far, turn back!
  6. Park at the Parking lot of the Campground.

We meet at Rouge Valley 10:45am, then the hike starts at 11:00am sharp.

How about Dinner at the Black Dog Pub after the hike, it's around the corner.

Remarks

The Hike is considered Easy to Moderate. There will be some hills.
