Come and explore the first 'urban national park', Rouge Park.

Directions

If you are driving from Yonge and York Mills, follow the signs for the zoo.

  1. Take Highway 401 to Meadowvale Road.
  2. Drive north on Meadowvale Road approximately two kilometers.
  3. At the top of the ramp, turn to the right, east, into 1749 Meadowvale Road. The zoo will be on your left side.

The hike will be begin at 10:45am at Rouge Valley Conservation Centre, Pearce House

Remarks

The hike will be 13 to 15 kilometers, over hilly terrain, with numerous lookouts of the beautiful scenery.
