Directions

  1. Go west on Highway 401 to Highway 410.
  2. Go north on Highway 410 to Mayfield Road. As of 2009Sep03, this is the very end of Highway 410.
  3. Turn left, west, at Mayfield Road.
  4. The first traffic light is Heart Lake Road. Turn right, north.
  5. Continue north to King Street and turn left.
  6. On King Street, drive to Highway 10 and turn right, north.
  7. Drive north on Highway 10 past Caledon and Orangeville to Highway 89 at Primrose.
  8. Turn left on Highway 89 and continue to the town of Shelburne
  9. Turn right, north, on County Road 124.
  10. Drive north about 20km, to Maple Valley.
  11. Turn right on Regional Road 9.
  12. Go approximately 2.5km to Concession 10. Take it easy down the hill. The next turn-off is hard to see.
  13. Turn left at Concession 10, and park.

Remarks

This hike is rated intermediate. There are some great views. Bring a camera. We will have dinner in Creemore, or at Mylar and Loretas.
